Sunday 20th October - HALLOWEEN POTTERY WORKSHOP ~ SOLD OUT

Halloween Pottery Workshop1 300w

Please book the later 2pm Halloween Pottery Workshop; the morning workshop is now Sold Out. Make your own Halloween cup and plate with artist Christien Van Bussel. You will learn how to work with colourful clay and design a scary face for your tableware. To get into the real Halloween spirit you will also make a pumpkin-shaped candleholder. The pottery will be glazed and fired in the pottery kiln to make it food-safe so you can eat and drink from your masterpieces. It will be available for collection from the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre in time for Halloween.
From 11am to 1pm. Suitable for children aged 7+
Children under 7 welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Monday 28th October - MAKE A HALLOWEEN LANTERN

Make A Halloween Lantern 300w

Join Ronan and Elaine from Newgrange Willow Design and make a wonderful Halloween Lantern using willow, special paper and glue.
Decorate with a celtic image or create your own individual design. Ideal for carrying in our Halloween Parade.
Suitable for children aged 7+
Children under 7 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Monday 28th October - HALLOWEEN CREATIVE SEWING CAMP

Halloween Creative Sewing Camp 300w

Over 3 days, from Monday 28th to Wednesday 30th October, 2pm to 5pm daily. We are delighted to welcome Ana’s Sewing School to facilitate a three-day Halloween sewing camp. Ana’s Sewing School is a Fashion Design and Dressmaking School for Adults and Children run by Ireland's Award winning dressmaker, Anna McGuire. Each session is structured so that each child will work on a brand new Halloween themed project each day e.g. 3D Halloween Decorations, Halloween Bunting, Trick or Treat Bag etc. using sewing machines and other sewing skills and incorporating a range of new styles and colourful Halloween fabrics.
Suitable for children aged 6 +  No experience required, fabrics and machines supplied!

Tuesday 29th October - HALLOWEEN CUPCAKE DECORATING

Halloween Cupcakes 300w

Roll up your sleeves, and get ready to create spiders, ghosts and other Halloween treats for a ghoulish spectacular!  All aprons, equipment and ingredients supplied. All children will go home with 12 decorated cupcakes in a box with recipe sheets. Run by professional pastry chefs, this is a hands-on class; please wear appropriate clothes and footwear.
From 11am to 1pm

Wednesday 30th October - HALLOWEEN SPOOKY SIGN WORKSHOP

Spooky Halloween Sign Workshop 300w

Join Andrew from the OWLS Children’s Nature Charity for a fun workshop where you will make a spooky Halloween sign using driftwood, stencils, chisels and more. Bring your own ideas and stencils if you have them.
From 10am to 11:30am
Suitable for children aged 7+
Children under 7 welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Wednesday 30th October - HALLOWEEN WREATH WORKSHOP

Make A Halloween Wreath 300w

Andrew from the OWLS Children’s Nature Charity will show you how to make your own natural Halloween wreath using foliage from local hedgerows and decorated with berries, pine cones ribbon and more.
Bring your own foliage as well to add to your unique creations.
From 12 noon to 1pm
Suitable for children aged 7+
Children under 7 welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Thursday 31st October - HALLOWEEN PARADE

Halloween Parade 300w

This year our annual Halloween Parade will have a theatrical feel to it. We ask everybody to congregate at Bun An Cnoic at 6.45pm. The parade will commence at 7 pm and will travel down main street in Naul finishing up in ‘The Pipers Garden’ at the SEAC. There will be our annual Pumpkin Carving Competition, please bring your carved pumpkins down to the centre for 6.30 p.m. The decorated pumpkins will be displayed around the tree and the winner will be announced on the night. We will also have our best decorated house competition. To be in with a chance to win forward your images to [email protected]
